Last month, RentCafe, a national website detailing trends in various rental markets, reached out to interview Chris Amaral, owner of Safe Responsible Movers, about some of his favorite lesser-known landmarks in the Boston area. Look, it’s our Boston movers in the news again!
At the top of the list: Jamaica Plain’s Loring-Greenough House. Here is some of what he said:
“One of our favorite, lesser-known historic homes is the Loring Greenough House in Jamaica Plain. Built in 1760, it’s a gorgeous example of Georgian Colonial architecture, located on a beautiful green lot of former farmland close to the bustling center of Jamaica Plain. The grounds of the house are open to the public, and there are frequent events hosted by the house, including tours of the home, outdoor movies, “Thursdays on the Lawn” featuring local mobile food trucks, and other fun times.”
The article also has other business owners sharing some of their favorite things to do in and around the Massachusetts Capitol, such as visiting Fenway Park, hiring a pedicab, and checking out the Harbor Islands.
