Safe Responsible Owner Interviewed on National Blog
ApartmentGuide, a national website specializing in advice for renting apartments, just published a new article by writer Julia Weaver. The article, called “18 Essential Spring Moving Tips for a Stress-Free Transition,” summarizes some well-known and some lesser-known tips and tricks for anyone moving during the springtime. Creating a checklist, making plans early, and transferring all your utilities ahead of time are all great tips Weaver highlights in the article.
Also in the blog post is a quote from one of our own — the owner and founder of Safe Responsible Movers, Chris Amaral. What did he suggest? Taking apart items before the movers arrive to save money on the job. Here’s the quote:
“If you’re moving locally within the same state, consider disassembling and reassembling your furniture yourself to save money,” suggests Chris Amaral, owner and founder of Safe Responsible Movers in Boston, MA. “Most local moving companies charge by the hour, so you can reduce the time movers spend on your move can save you some money. Also, try to avoid weekends and the 1st of the month since they’re the busiest dates, and thus more expensive than weekdays mid-month.”
